18-year-old Josephine Relli is an artist in every right – a recording artist, model and actor. She released her first album in 2016 and has continued to churn out an eclectic array of music ever since. She attended the International Modeling and Talent Association (IMTA) and has participated in high-end events with such mega brands as Macy’s. And she made her onscreen debut in Chloë Sevigny’s short film, “Carmen.”

Josephine was born in Spokane, Washington. Her family relocated to Minnesota when she was 5, and then Portland when she was 10. At the early age of 13 was when she initially began to delve deeply into music. And being homeschooled for much of her high-school years allowed her to put a focus on learning and navigating the music industry.

With the bulk of Josephine's musical inspiration rooted in old-school icons like Ray Charles, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sam Cooke, and Jackie Wilson, it’s no surprise that the budding artist has been described as an “old soul.” But even still, she loves such contemporaries as Sam Smith, musically, and Taylor Swift for her strong business sense.

In 2016, Josephine teamed up with producer Joseph Konty to immerse herself in a project that would ultimately result in her debut album, “Miscellaneous.” As its title might suggest, it’s a collection of varying styles and genres, being a time of experimentation and growth for the singer. Josephine has since moved on to writing and producing her own music as she fine-tunes her art, while still priding herself on intentionally avoiding genres with her unique sound.

For her single “Steady,” Josephine teamed up with BrokeBoii for a decidedly R&B endeavor with touches of hip-hop. “No 1” is a soulful undertaking featuring rapper Kay-Ree. “Falling” is an alternative ballad with bluesy overtones, whereas “Blink of an Eye” and “So Good” live in the commercial and pop worlds respectively.

In 2019, Josephine attended IMTA where she received a number of modeling and acting accolades. She shortly thereafter relocated to Los Angeles to further pursue the arts and the industry. She’s enjoying her new life in Los Angeles and continues to develop her music with new material currently in the works and an upcoming series of music slated for 2020 release.

Josephine is passionate about fashion and beauty, and hopes to launch her own lines in makeup, fashion and skincare in the near future. She’s also a strong supporter of philanthropic endeavors, including LGBTQ+ rights, animal adoption and rescue, and breast cancer research – to name a few.
